back to my kitchen

Well, things finally feel like they are really done with this kitchen remodel. I am sure some rearranging of shelves and placement of pictures will still keep me busy before I feel like these rooms are truly complete, but the major stuff is finished and it feels wonderful. Perhaps I should line up some before and after pictures just for fun, but for now here are some photos we snapped around the kitchen and family room last week. Hope you enjoy them!

What do you think of everything? Please share...

i laughed when i saw the shelving beside your stove as i just finished, 2 days ago building a console table for my workroom out of that black gas pipe and a carrara marble top. it looks exactly like your shelves. no pics on my blog yet but soon. great minds think alike

At first glance my heart was captured. Upon looking at the images a second and third time I found so many wonderful touches. Love truly lives in the details.

Hi Bev,

Well, I think everything looks stunning!!! Love your new shelves by the stove, I'm sure you will wonder what you ever did without them. They match the ones structurally in the dining area. And I LOVE the wooden drawers and shadow box opposite your island bench. This piece was worth waiting for. Your family room is looking wonderful. Love all the furniture in here and am also loving the animal print cushions, they do add that extra zing. Love your halloween mantle display. Thanks so much for sharing.
Take care

Hi Bev, Your kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and it is my favorite of all kitchens in blogland. The brick, island, lights...love it all. I also spot a amber glass demijohn. I have never seen one this color! I would love for you to drop by and see the one I just bought for $2.00.
xoxo, Sherry

Love it Love it! I just missed buying one of the light fixtures from your store. I believe it ws Jen who tried to find one for me, but I ended up getting one from Restoration Hardware. It will soon be hanging above my island. The carrera marble shelving is gorgeous...may just have to try that too. Please keep sharing, so many wonderful ideas!
